The dealer's initial exclamations of congratulations to winners may tend to fade away if the winning continues. The dealer might seem to tense up or languish under the scrutiny of the pit boss. Attention from the pit may be worse on them than on the players, who are usually unaware of what's happening. The pit boss might whisper to her, "Who's winning?", and she may nod in your direction, perhaps answering cheerily, "He's doing pretty good!" Even without the pit boss's attention, a dealer who's under pressure may very well show nervousness when there are a lot of payouts. From that point on, the dealer and the pit boss usually execute a pre-arranged set of defenses to stem the winning. This is usually the extent of the operation. But there may be a Mechanic called in, and not necessarily to cheat. Actually, you can win at a few tables and never see a Mechanic. But sometimes, rarely, the dealer may feel like she's under so much pressure that she'll take matters into her own hands. She may try to claim a push as a loss for you, or call your win a push. Even more amateurish, she may "forget" to pay you, or underpay you. So, you should really pay attention to what's going on in front of you, just in case. There's money lying around allover the place, and everybody wants some of it The casino trying to work the players, through alcohol and money-lust, into a state that they lose control over their wallets. At the same time, they insist that you practice self-control in the other aspects of your behavior. Some of these casinos are not beyond cheating you out of your money. If you accuse them of it, they might just throw you out of the place. Fortunately, the practice of cheating customers is very limited. Most people don't even recognize it when it happens, and most of those that howl about being cheated, they're just bad losers. Remember, the online casino Australia are on the receiving end of an endless stream of thieves, con-artists, lock-pickers, chipsnatchers and general liars, all desperate to get their hands on that money, any way that they can. You can hardly blame the casinos for being rigid in their conduct It's unfortunate, however, when either the player or the casino adopts the attitude that they are at war with each other. It can only detract from the pleasure of, and lower the level of the game.
